What are the healthiest foods for gaining weight, real food, not protein shakes and such?

    Some of the denser nut butters like almond and coconut oil (fat) have come on the scene recently and have pretty good prospects. You can just take a few scoops like a vitamin. I think it's the Thai who put it in their coffee.

    Personally and scientifically, I don't think you can get the kick you need to gain weight without a little help. I yell at kids about how 1000 pound bed ridden Walter Hudson was considered fat when 1500 pound Aunt Julie is in line with me at WalMart right now. In fitness, I know that McDonalds or something just disgustingly fatty is the boost I need to work and keep my fat, much less, gain it.

    The best thing I can recommend on the basic American super market shelf is meat. It sounds corny but red meat, potatoes, and corn are a great way to really push your caloric intake without getting into worrying about your cardiac system. I would go with homemade burgers with real meat, real cheese etc, but still fat that'll catch up to you sooner or later.
