Is ultrasonography a good job? Should I go to Diagnostic Medical Sonography school or pursue a Bachelor's degree instead?
I was accepted into an accredited DMS program which starts this fall. I have two associate degrees (Human Services & Health Sciences). Unfortunately this two year DMS program will not lead to a bachelor's degree. I feel like i've been in school for so long. The thought of investing two more years and still not having a B.A. is not thrilling....However i've heard that ultrasound techs make decent $ and it is a good field to get into. Should I go for it?

Sonographer here.
While techs are high in demand, there's not always enough jobs to go around for all the new grads. In my area, hospitals prefer techs who are not only registered, but who have Bachelor degrees.
I can't tell you whether or not to go into DMS; I can only say that it's not for everyone. You're dealing with people who are healthy and some who are sick (some very very sick and/or dying). If you go into OB-GYN, you also need to be prepared that it's not all sunshine and roses for those mothers.
It's a lot of hours standing on your feet, straining your eyes and in some cases, wrist/arm injuries.

How about asking local adults for actual info locally as it varies greatly depending on what country u live in.
In USA visit BLS.GOV/OOH for actual real world info on careers jobs actually in demand and pay good money.
Visit local pay scale sites for Demand and pay locally.
Visit libraries for books on how to get educated in the industry.
