My grandma has custody of my girl cousin?
Okay, so i am getting really pissed off at the situation.
Ever since August, beginning of the school year, my girl cousin is in 3rd grade, my grandma has absolutely no discipline whatsoever.
She LETS my cousin stay up ON SCHOOL NIGHTS til whenever she wants , usually no earlier than 11pm
Then school comes. Since august my cousin has either been late of missed school cause my grandma gives her the choice whether she wants to go to school or not.
She goes to sleep at 11pm, SUPPOSED TO be at school at 8:30am, she literally doesnt even wake up til 9am.
My cousin has either been late or missed school 50 days this year. she is so spoiled, she stays up all night on the damn tablet. Even when she misses school, my grandma lets her stay home and play games and go on the tablet.
My cousin on average WHEN she does go to school is getting in 5 hours of school PER DAY and 8 hours of tablet time.
I have absolutely NEVER seen her do homework once. As soon as she gets home, throws her backpack down and fist thing she grabs in the tablet.
What are the consequences my grandma could face for this?

You should be more worried about the consequences your cousin will face later in life when she has no education. Plus, at 50 days, she will be automatically held back a year in most school districts.

tell the school whats going on, they might send her to live elsewhere, but if you report this dont be surprised if you find yourself living somewhere else if youre living with your grandma too, when someone reports something they'll take all the kids , not just one of them, she needs to go to school, your grandma can get in trouble for truancy too
