7 weeks old GSD puppy rash ?

Hi Im really confused. Today I noticed that the hair in its muzzle area has been gone and the skin can be seen..

Then I went to the vet and i was told its a rash and an injection for that can not be given until 18 weeks.

Then he applied some liquid on affected area and told me to come again within a week..

I want to know will my dog lost his all the black and tan shiny coat throughout the life ? or Is it reversable ?

    Sounds like a staph infection. And actually when we had this in one litter we bred, to my horror, our then vet recommended I use undiluted Johnson's Baby Shampoo put on with a Q-tip. It worked.

    If the treatment your vet has prescribed isn't working, take him back.
