What are the best peppers to grow in canada.?
Manitoba specifically . Im not really considered about how hot the pepper is. I will have a couple of raised gardens. I would like to grow a variety of peppers, see which i like best

You might look for one with as short a growing season as possible, unless you are planning to start them from seed, very early (like right now or a month ago) indoors under lights, or in a greenhouse or cold frame. Peppers need heat, not only in the daytime but at night, and they can take from 60 to 90 days from sowing to maturity, if conditions are ideal. That's 2 to 3 months of night time temps of 55F or more. In some parts of Manitoba that just isn't going to happen without extra measures to keep the plants warm.
If you're buying plants, there won't be many kinds to choose from.
