If you allow just any man to go into the women's restroom, how do we keep the rapists and pervs from abusing this privilege?
Are you going to require that the man wear a dress? If so, doesn't that mean that any woman not wearing a dress isn't a "real" woman? I thought those gender identity issues went away in the 1960's.

False.
There's nothing keeping pervs from using the bathroom now.
This is nothing but a transparent attempt to deny transsexual people rights they deserve.
Transsexual people have been medically transitioning, and using public bathrooms, for more than 65 years.
In all that time it's never been an issue.
There's also NEVER been a case of anyone pretending to be trans to gain access to a bathroom.
As I said before: Crooks and pervs don't need a law, they already prey on people.

Do you really think that if a person was planning to rape a woman in a public restroom, he'd be deterred by the fact that the sign on the door indicates it's for women? Don't you think it would be much more likely that the man would know exactly where he needed to hide until a victim came along?
Hey, I was planning to rape someone, but the sign on the door shows a person in a skirt, and I'm wearing pants. Darn, foiled again....really?

Of course a law isn't going to stop them. However, it DOES give them the LEGAL right to hang out in that bathroom for hours waiting for the right victim.
Now, if someone sees a man in a women's restroom, they can call the police, and he can be arrested. Under liberal insanity, that man has a right to be there, and, if you dare to say it makes you uncomfortable, YOU will be brought down by the liberal PC Nazis.
I've noticed that liberals never have one single intelligent answer for this. Perhaps because this is just insane.

You don't "allow just any man to go into the women's restroom". Only women belong there, whether they be trans or cis. I would go so far as to insist that only transsexual women with a clinical diagnosis should be using the women's restrooms.

This opens the door to unisex bathrooms in the future. I just wonder if we'll still have urinals or if that will offend some who are ill-equipped.

The same way we do now: The fact that rape and public indecency are illegal and will remain illegal.
Guess how many trans people have been arrested and charged for sexual assault in a washroom in the 64 years since Christine Jorgensen came Out.
I'll give you a little hint:
None.
That's right, absolutely zero. Exactly no trans people have ever been charged with attempting a sexual assault in a washroom. Every time you hear Conservatives fearmongering about trans people in washrooms, it turns out that they're lying.
Every.
Single.
Time.
Now contrast that statistic with the number of Conservatives who have been arrested for sexual assault or improprieties in washrooms since 1952.
Um, who are we supposed to be afraid of again?

if a man chooses a woman's rest room to rape some one, a law is not going to stop them.
