How do Muslims explain that Allah is not the same God the Jewish people worship?

I do not understand that reasoning especially when the Quran references them. How can David have been inspired by God to write the psalms if it was not the God he worshiped? Muslims please understand I mean no disrespect, I am ignorant on the subject and would like to learn.

its relative to what a person knows about allah and if you listened to infowars with Dave Knight as the host, there was a muslim convert who said exactly this. the podcast is free to listen to. it was a very intriguing interview. he said the comparison of Jehovah as love is opposite of allah which is murder.

Muslims and Jews do NOT worship the same god...David was from the God's chosen people (Jews)while Mohammed was none but a pedophile warlord Arab who started a death cult 1400 years ago

I'm pretty sure muslims say that allah is the same god the jews worship so why would they explain the exact opposite?

(BTW - allah is Arabic for god)
