Question about a legal settlement?

Update:

I filed a lawsuit in Cuyahoga county between two parties-one got the summons and the other has yet to respond to the lawsuit. The one that responded is willing to settle for the full amount I am suing for, but I have to sign a bunch of waivers saying they are not guilty. The thing is, none of them know I had told the attorney general's office on them already. Will that affect the settlement
