Any experience getting of the Depo shot?
I've been on the Depo shot as my form of birth control for over a year now. I'm no longer in a relationship so I don't really need birth control anymore, so I'm planning on not continuing getting my shot. I'm wondering if anyone else has been on the shot for a while and then gotten off of it. I'm mostly curious as to when my period is going to come back as I haven't had one in at least a year because of the shot. Any experience would be helpful!

I was on the Depo shot for 2 years when I got off of it I had a 5 week heavy period, I had to start taking iron pills this is just my personal experience though.
