Exfoliator and Moisturizer Recommendation?
I have super dry skin and the recent weather is making it even worse. My forehead is peeling really badly and I haven't been able to find a moisturizer that works well enough! I've tried the Cetaphil Daily Moisturizer for extra dry skin but I feel like it soaks in too quickly. I would love some recommendations for an exfoliator and/or moisturizer. I would prefer more affordable if possible. Thanks!
4 AnswersOther - Skin & Body3 years agoAny experience getting of the Depo shot?
I've been on the Depo shot as my form of birth control for over a year now. I'm no longer in a relationship so I don't really need birth control anymore, so I'm planning on not continuing getting my shot. I'm wondering if anyone else has been on the shot for a while and then gotten off of it. I'm mostly curious as to when my period is going to come back as I haven't had one in at least a year because of the shot. Any experience would be helpful!
1 AnswerWomen's Health5 years agoBleaching hair at home: Good or bad idea?
I've been dying my own hair for somewhere around 5 years off and on. That being said, I've always dyed my hair darker than its natural color, never lighter, so I've never worked with bleach. I would not be dying my entire head, just some pieces here and there (going for a balayage kind of thing) then going over the bleached pieces with a bright pink. I've seen a lot of mixed opinions on whether bleaching at home is a bad idea or not, but I think most of those questions are referring to dying their whole head, not just pieces, so I'm wondering if anyone with more experience has any ideas. Thanks!
3 AnswersHair5 years agoWhere are the new questions?
I d like to see if anyone else is having the same issue I am. I regularly answer questions in about four categories (then some random ones if I m bored), but for the past week, I ll get one question from like, 2 hours ago, then the rest are from days and days ago. I haven t gotten a new question to answer in over a week. I ve tried logging out and back in, but no change. Is this happening to anyone else or does anyone have an explanation?
3 AnswersYahoo Answers5 years agoIs the Abandonment Remedy Reasonable in this Situation?
The basics: My boyfriend and I are renting an apartment from a management company in California. We have had a leak in our roof for over two months now. We found out about the leak because it rained and water came through our ceiling in the living room. We complained to the leasing office and they fixed the ceiling, but they have not repaired the roof. It rained again a little less than a week ago, and we have water coming through our ceiling in the same spot. We complained again, and they sent a maintenance guy to come look at it, but the roof still has not been fixed, nor has the ceiling been repaired. The humidity has been high recently, so we are almost certain that mold is growing above our ceiling due to the moisture.
We've looked over our rights as tenants and this seems to be our favorite option (we're just so done dealing with them), but we were hoping for a second opinion. Does this sound reasonable?
More details:
We've given them a reasonable amount of time to make the repair, and El Niño is coming this year, which means lots and lots of rain. My boyfriend actually works for a roofing company, and they're currently swamped with people asking for repairs. The management company has had a history of being incredibly cheap, so they won't shell out more money to get work done. By the time it rains again, every roofing company around here will be completely booked, plus they're jacking up prices because the demand for their services is so high. Thoughts?
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs6 years agoWorkout Ideas?
So I'm 19, female, and beginning my enlistment for the Navy. I will probably have somewhere between 3-6 months before basic training (I haven't done MEPS yet, probably will next week), and I'll be going from zero activity to boot camp-ready in that time. I would like to ship out as soon as I can while still being ready physically. I've looked at some of the SEALS workouts online, but they're around 26 weeks, so I'm trying to figure out how to condense those workouts, or if it would be better to wait so I can be more prepared. Anyone have thoughts?
