can I sue an apartment for lack of parking and my car flooding on the street?
the parking they have is not within view of the apt, half the security cameras are broken. i rather park where my car is visible. no assigned parking. lots of people park outside the gate of the apt due to no parking in the apartment the street is full on both sides with the same parked cars.
i have insurance, but i was wondering because it seems like a big inconvenience. if they have pools and gyms and playgrounds in an apartment they should have adequate parking

No, I'm afraid not. The apartment complex maintains adequate parking for their residents. It's not negligent of them when others take those spaces against their wishes. Also, you decided where to park your car in a place where your car was flooded...that's your liability. Call your insurance company. Hopefully, you have full insurance that will cover flood water.

An apartment is a building and can NOT be sued. If you do not have an assigned space - then you must park on the street. Your auto insurance is the only one who can help you with your flooded car.

Not successfully, no. No law or other rule requires them to provide any parking at all, let alone enough for everybody, and they of course have no control over flooding on a public road.

Not if you knew there was no guaranteed parking when you signed the lease. Your car insurance should cover the flooding damage.

Absolutely you can. You certainly won't win, and it probably won't even be heard, but you can sue.

no. you can't - why did you move there in the first place if you had to park on the street and didn't like it?

You can sue anyone you want for anything you want, it is not free to sue and you will lose......

That is what your insurance is for. Your apartment building has nothing to do with that.
