Trying to come up with an awesome girl's name without repeating names from a large family. HELP!!!?
Hubby and I are trying to come up with an awesome name for our baby due in October. I am very against repeating the first name of anyone living in our family, at least as a first name, and I come from a large extended family. His family is smaller, but they add even more names to our NO list. We are looking for something not so unusual that people will look at the name strangely; we're more into old fashioned or classic names.

I am the same way you are. I come from a large family and when and if the time comes I don't my child to have the same first names as someone else in the family. There are already repeaters in my family.
