What name do you just love and you can't really explain why?

I have been absolutely obsessed with the name Ralph. I think it is an awesome name, but I can't explain beyond that why I really like that name.

Which spelling is better Fionnoula, Fionnuala, or Finnula (phonetic American English)? The name is pronounced Finn-oo-la. Nickname would be Ula. Personally, I am leaning towards the first one. Thoughts?

I am looking for girl names that begin with D and end with a consonant sound, silent E is OK. I like Doris or Darlene, but am looking for other suggestions for girls' names that begin with D but do NOT end in a vowel sound. It does not matter if the name is common or not, just that it is a girls' name that begins with D and does not end with a vowel sound.

HUbby and I are expecting #2 in early October and will not be finding out the gender of this little bundle of joy. We have taken to calling the baby, Baby X. We had thought long and hard about this and decided Baby X should have an X somewhere in their name. So I am just looking for opinions. What do you think of Beatrix Holly and Stanley Xavier? Why do you like or dislike them?

Any suggestions for the perfect girl's name to fit with our family?

I am pregnant with #2, due in early October, so I know I have plenty of time, but I am already so sick of trying to find the perfect name. So I am asking everyone to give me a suggestion for a boy's name and a girl's name. Just one name combo each, first and middle name. To give you an idea of what we like, our daughter was born in February 2015 and her name is April Jane.

Hubby and I are expecting #2 in the fall. We have a boys' name all picked out already, but are struggling with a girls' name. We already have a daughter named April Jane. Our last name is one of those obviously Irish last names that begins with O'. So which girls' name do you like best and why: Pearl, Bridget, or Eleanor?

We have a boy's name all picked out that we both love, Stanley, but are having a lot of trouble coming up with a girl's name. I like "old fashioned" names like Mabel and Elinor. Hubby likes unusual names like Pepper, but at the same time, he hates creative spellings. He's stubborn and whenever we start talking names, he'll mention other boys' names, but he hates every girl's name except Pepper, which I have made clear to him that I am not a fan of. Any suggestions for a girl's name?
