Should I go to an 18+ show by myself if I'm under 18?

There's a show that I really want to go to in about a month but it's 18+ and I'm 16. I called ahead and I can get in with a legal parent/guardian, but my parents are out of town (well my mom is coming home later that night, but it would be after the show starts). Here's my plan: I can just take public transportation down to the venue (which I have done before), find a kind stranger on their way to the event, and have them be my temporary parent to get into the venue. My parents don't want me to go alone but I know I am more than capable of handling myself. What would you do if you were in my situation?

Find a friend or a friend's sibling who is 18+ and make them promise to not say a word. That's what I would do if I were in that situation. Strangers aren't always that friendly, and you shouldn't just go up to a random person on the street and ask. Make sure it's someone you know who won't tell.

Be considerate, don't drink, don't talk to strangers, blah blah blah. Just make sure you watch out for yourself. I'm not going to tell you that you can't drink, just make sure nobody tampered with it if they buy you a drink, which is probably the only way you'll get a drink, because if it has alcohol, the place will probably card you.

Also, work out all possible scenarios. Examples:

What will happen if they want you to prove that the person who took you is a legal guardian?

What will happen if someone tries to kidnap/assault you?

What will happen if you drink too much? (If you drink at all)

    Just know what to do.

Also, if the person taking you looks like you (same hair colour, same eye colour, face shape, etc.) it would be a lot more believable.

    Good luck!

I'd have a family friend or upperclassman take me. Finding a random stranger puts up a lot of red flags in my mind. As does going to a mature audience show alone. (I'm 15 by the way)

Not go. Your worth way more than a show. What if that kind stranger has a darker motive. Ask one of your older friends. Owe them one. I give you props for calling and checking. And not trying to sneak in.

Maybe just bring a friend that will enjoy it too just too have someone with you.
