When a GSD puppy recognize its master ?

I have a 9 weeks old gsd puppy.. Im the one who spends time with him on daily basis Feeding, Training, Exercisisng, Grooming ect...

But I feel he doesnt have any difference between me and strangers..

If someone else call him when he is with me he will go.. when he is playing with someone, he doesnt come to me when called if its so fun to play with

I have seen so many obeyed GSDs to their masters even without much training..

When will my puppy understand that im the provider and his master ? Is he still too young ?

Of course he is too young. WHY in the world would you think a puppy that has been with you for a week (or two) would be wildly BONDED to you, at THIS point? He has the attention span of a demented gnat.

When he left his litter and breeder (it was the only world he had ever known & he was broken-hearted or certainly upset, then) That BOND was stronger than any pitiful thing you have built, so far by feeding & training & grooming him. His Momma did ALL of that and kept him warm to boot.

Get OVER yourself and your inflated EGO! BTW, you ought NOT to be "drilling" the puppy at this age with any training - that lasts over 5 minutes or he will tune you OUT.

The pup is way too young yet to have formed any strong bond with one particular person.

Building up a relationship with a puppy takes time and training and patience.

You are expecting way too much from puppy of this age.

And do keep training sessions very short at this age (3-5 minutes) and often (2-3 times daily) as pups this age have very short attention spans.

Your pup does not need any special exercise yet. Just let him play and wander about at his own pace and do not take him out on the ground in public places until he has received all his vaccinations. "Carry" him out to see the world and all what goes on in it, or in a rucksack.

You have the wrong impression of what this dog will do and you may be very sadly surprised soon.
