Am I a bad person for using Asperger's as an insult, and thinking people have it?

I avoid my co-worker and oters whom I suspect have Asperger's....it's because they are weird and not comfortable to be around....

And people who speak out of turn, and off the bat say offensive things to me, and then say "they don't realise" lol..

Does this make me a bad person??

Yes you are a bad person for assuming things not in evidence, and insulting folks. Some people think I have Asperger's but none that I see in the real world because that would result in an unfortunate action. How about you try being a decent person?

I know where you are coming from on this. My brother has Aspergers and he is very difficult to be around. Even though he is my brother he makes me very uncomfortable. I don't think you are a bad person for using this as an insult, but I would suggest you to consider the idea that not all people with this condition are the same. For example, my brother can be very violent and hateful. He can also be very pretentious, and goes around acting like he is a superior human being and he is the smartest person alive. It gets annoying, and after spending a lot of time around him, it is easy for me to hate him and get frustrated. Everything from death threats to telling me I should kill myself, he has said it.

But I know someone else with the disease who has entirely different traits of it, and is not violent or cruel. He has a very bizarre personality, but is not like my brother, yet they share the same condition.

So I would ask that you consider maybe it is not the disease itself that makes them everything they are, but the way they act. So if someone is acting strange or rude, why not call them exactly what they are instead?

I have Aspergers, I would appreciate you avoiding me lol. I think most people with Aspergers would appreciate it too. Your puny minds cant even begin to comprehend our thoughts, intellect and reasoning

    No, just an intolerant one.
