Best way to play with a puppy ?

You can play chase outside, walk backwards and have the pup follow you, call out 'come' and every time the pup catches up praise highly and say good pup!

Teaching tug of war with a rope, introduce to a rolling ball, teaching to follow it, pick it up or at least touch it, then bring it back. Some pups excel at this, others don't want anything to do with that strange round moving monster...

You can practice drills of sit, down, back, stand etc and turn it into a fun game for several minutes.

Run through the yard whistle and call the pup, encourage hin to follow you.

Should have done your research before getting a pup. There's a lot more to proper care than just playing. Such as vet care, proper feeding, sufficient daily walking/elimination times, every 1-2 hours, 30-40 minutes each time, aerobic exercise, such as playing fetch twice daily, 20-30 minutes each time, mental stimulation such as obedience training twice daily 5-10 minutes each time, etc.
