with virgin media cable, is it possible to keep the broadband , and nothing else I have a contract phone with them I really do not need the landline

You will have to wait till your contract ends before changing to internet only, the cost of phone and broadband is not much more than broadband only though

You will have to call them up and ask them but if youve got a contract with them you may be stuck with it but before you had to have a landlines with your broadband but I did hear this is not the case anymore but this maybe only relevant to certain companies and certain locations
