    Ionian = Major Scale

    I don't have the whole/half step patterns of the modes memorized, but if you played a C Major scale.

    c d e f g a b c = ionian. You can use C major to easily find the other modes, just play from the next scale degree up, to it's octave.

    d e f g a b c d= dorian

    e f g a b c d e = Phrygian

    f g a b c d e f = Lydian

    g a b c d e f g = mixolydian

    a b c d e f g a = aoelian (Natural minor scale, raise the 7th for harmonic, and 6 + 7 ascending for melodic)

    b c d e f g a b = locrian

    I'm no expert on this stuff, someone else can give you more information. I think it is generally considered a mode and would be the same as a major scale. I could be wrong though.
