Why is it that they make Byron Saxton out to be a wimp?

Question

As a babyface commentator, he shows digust towards the action of heels like Kevin Owens, Charlotte, and her father Ric Flair, yet when it comes to them being at earshot and/or harassing him like Owens and The Wyatt Family have been doing, he doesn't even try to defend himself. Being a former wrestler, he should be doing that but he lets them own him. This past Sunday was the worst for him as KO forced Saxton to interview him after beating Sami Zayn and physically harassing him to do so without Saxton even defending himself at all.

He's new. They do that to every new announcer. They did it to Michael Cole, Josh Matthews, and now Byron Saxton. It's nothing new.

Vince is just making him look bad because he's a jerk with Black talent. He doesn't give Sasha any tv time despite being the best on the roster and he suspended Titus O'Neal for touching him. Now he's saying Apollo Crews is not getting over with the crowd which is b.s. Just to make him look bad.

Because Saxton is an employee. If he attacks a superstar, the superstar could get injured. Therefore he would get suspended or fired.

he debuted in NXT under this form around the time WWE was taking  heat for the caricature-esque characterization of Cryme Tyme... so they went the opposite direction and made him the 'nerd'... still a stereo type, but lesser known one, and not likely to get them heat
