Can I colect on my father's estate in Colorado for a back child support order from Sarasota Florida in 1964.?

    Child support is not owed to the supported child.

    No, but you may have a claim to part of his estate as one of his heirs. The executor of his will should be contacting you, but you may have to contact the surrogate court in his county of residence.

    i am not an attorney, but from what i understand he owed your mother the child support, not you.
