    You do know that the Napa Valley is a 8 hour drive from A, Right? Now for Southern California, your best bet would be wineries around San Louis Obispo. So go into any good sized hotel and go over to where they keep the tour pamphlets and look there.

    If you are going to be in L.A., you might be better off not putting this question in the San Francisco section. There are several companies which provide tours of the Southern California wine areas, this is just one of many you can find with a simple web search:
