(Windows 8 & 10) Do you prefer using apps or do you prefer using the browser?
Many times i have earned myself "Best Answer" for the answers i give based on common knowledge (or it's supposed to be). One of the biggest things lately is people asking about why this is updating all the time or i can't access my (insert social media site here) using the app on Windows 8/10. When did it become easier to use an app on your computer/laptop over what was already there for you in the first place through your browser? I find that there is no need to use apps for common stuff like FB and Ebay when the sites themselves work perfectly fine. What do you guys think?

I hate 'apps' with the burning passion of a thousand fiery suns. They are difficult to use, slow to load, restrict right click and tabbing options and are, as you say, generally just the lesser way to make use of those sites. The first thing I did when I got my new Windows 8 and 10 laptops was to immediately change every file association to a regular program rather than an app.
