Non-sequitur, actually. There is no reason to believe that "Gods" need follow the same rules as humans, so we cannot make this leap in logic.

However, if we assume that there are multiple "Gods", then it would make sense in a completely pointless to mention way that "Gods will be Gods". As to what that would mean for any of us is a matter for another time. I imagine that concept is currently undefined in any agreeable sense.

  • If you say gods (plural) you are referring to spirits. Jesus said, "know that you are gods", which means that you must realize that you are all incarnated spirits, here for a short time and will return to the spirit world.

If you say God, (capital, with One Singular), then you are referring to the Creator, the Single Source of Power from which all other creatures came from.

The Greek stories of cultural moral teachings spoke of the 'gods' and their greater power over mankind. This is partly true. A person can be obsessed or possessed by a spirit or god. This spirit can cost them much freedom and cause much trouble. The Greek stories talk about this: that if we subject ourselves to lower morals and we act in accordance to the low standards of these certain 'gods" or spirits, then they now have the control of our lives. We are subject to them and are slaves to them.

In the Bible, many prophets warn about following "familiar" spirits, which means to act and follow according to the low and unclean standards of these low spirits.

The Hades where was found Zeus refers in the Bible to the devil in hell.

Humans, because we exist, are limited by reality.

Gods, because they are fictional, can be anything that their writer wants them to be, whether or not it makes any sense.

Men rarely (if ever) manage to dream up a god superior to themselves. Most gods have the manners and morals of a spoiled child.
