Back pain that won't go away?

Hurt my back 3 days ago. I called one of my friends to help me get a box spring and mattress down to my basement. A friend gave it to me and it's used, so little does she know, I'm never gonna use it. So, my friend was unable to help me. I ended up moving the heavy **** myself, and ****** my lower back up pretty good. It hurts to walk, it hurts to do everything... what's a quick remedy for this? I also have a crooked spine already so that doesn't help matters any... took ibuprofen 800 but that didn't help...
