Piercing help?

I got my frenulum (tongue web) pierced on Saturday but it seems to have swollen up ALOT. Is this normal?

    Yes. You just had a needle shoved through flesh. Swelling, redness, and pain are all normal. Care for it properly. because this is an oral piercing, use alcohol free mouthwash after every meal and keep good oral hygiene.

    i am a boy so i do not know alot but my sisters ears were swollenn when she got them pierced, but if you are saying "ALOT" then there is a chance that they could be infected or something.
