How much wealth and by when would you like to have?

Wealth is not just monetary. I have been relatively good at building wealth. Not so much in other areas.

My goal was a millionaire by 40 and I reached it a number of years early. I purposely didn't keep up with it exactly as I feared I might not work as hard.

But that goal wouldn't have been achieved if I were married with a family. Well, not as soon anyway. But maybe never.

But $500k is still a good amount. For me, it meant having enough not to have to work and eventually, I stopped.

Others continue.

Enough to live off comfortably from the interest.
