what plants do Caterpillars eat?

I have a geography project to do, and no matter how hard I try, I can't find what they specifically eat. I know they're mostly herbivores, but I am looking for specifics in their diets in Canada. for example; they eat this type of flower, or they eat this type of tree leaves and etc.

I am looking for a good answer, a source would be great!

    It depends on what species . The monarch caterpillar eats milkweed. It makes tne caterpillar and when it's actually a butterfly poisonous. To bright colours are a warning .

    For more info on specific caterpillars I suggest using Google and Wikipedia . Too many caterpillars to go through with you on this question

    Well there's some eating my pea plants so I know for sure they eat that.
