  • why doesn't this python program work? I am running on python 3.4?

    indentguessesTaken = 0

    print('Hello! What is your name?')

    myName = input()

    number = random.randint(1, 20)

    print('Well, ' + myName + ', I am thinking of a number between 1 and 20.')

    while guessesTaken < 6:

    print('Take a guess.') # There are four spaces in front of print.

    guess = input()

    guess = int(guess)

    guessesTaken = guessesTaken + 1

    if guess < number:

    print('Your guess is too low.') # There are eight spaces in front of print.

    if guess > number:

    print('Your guess is too high.')

    if guess == number:

    break

    if guess == number:

  • I have had a betta fish for a while, all of a sudden he is extremely scared?

    So I have had Oscar (my betta fish) for over 8 months now.

    He was always extremely happy; he had a well kept bubble nest, always flaring at random objects outside of his tank to mark "his territory," and he actively swam around his tank. Oscar never had a cave or plants to hide in, and I thought he deserves better. So I decided to go buy a nice little cave where he could hide from the light and hide. Everything was perfect, until recently.

    It's been about 2 weeks now he doesn't come out of his cave. I know he isn't dead because he swims up for air and for food, but he does it frantically. He darts up, eats a pellet, then darts back down. He does the same when he is in need of air.

    It's gotten so bad he doesn't finish his blood worms which he used to eat with no seconds thought.

    Tank:

    2.5 Gal (I plan to get a bigger one soon, I don't have enough room atm)

    filter

    water heated at 78

    No plants

    sea shells, and rocks

    water treated with "Betta Basics"

    Please help, I want to know why all of a sudden he is extremely scared

    I have a history project, and I have to talk about Roy Brown,

    Now I tried Googling this but found some different numbers, and I want to know what others know.

    And what I need to know is how many victories Roy Brown had? I have some numbers that are all under 15.

  • Im outside at 9:30pm playing basketball in the streets. This lady tells me that she want's me to stop or she will call the cops.?

    Im outside at 9:30pm playing basketball in the streets. This lady tells me that she want's me to stop or she will call the cops. I'm not screaming or anything, just bouncing a basketball and shooting it at the hoop while listening to music through my ear buds (keep in mind every window in her house is open as-well). Is she permitted to call the cops on me for play basketball at 9:30? And if she is not, how late am I able to play basketball?

  • what plants do Caterpillars eat?

    I have a geography project to do, and no matter how hard I try, I can't find what they specifically eat. I know they're mostly herbivores, but I am looking for specifics in their diets in Canada. for example; they eat this type of flower, or they eat this type of tree leaves and etc.

    I am looking for a good answer, a source would be great!

  • I have a betta fish and a bubbler?

    i have a bubbler, and i always kept it on because my betta fish (Oscar) enjoys playing around with it. but since its in my room, I turn it off at night because it makes lots of noise. one morning I woke up to see that Oscar has built a bubble nest. now when I turn on the bubbler it destroys his bubble nest. And sadly he lives in a 2.5 because I can't fit a 5 in my room. My question is will Oscar get upset if the bubbler stays on and destroy's his bubble nest? and does the bubbler reduce the amount of trips he has to take to the surface to breathe?

  • my betta fish doesn't have a hiding spot?

    my betta fish (Oscar) live is a happy guy, has a proper diet, I give him variety to eat.

    since I love Oscar, I did some research and found out that betta fish are scared of open water, Oscar has some seashells at the bottom of the tank, but none he can really hide into. Now my question is; should I go get a plant or some sort of box for Oscar to hide into? I don't want him to live in fear and anxiety

  • So I have a Betta fish (his name is Oscar) and he is not active at all!?

    Oscar lives in a 2.5 gallon fish tank with a water heater (about 80f), a filter, and a bubbler. There are sea shells for him to play with and even a toy specially made for Betta fish. But he just sits there, floating near the surface doing nothing. I feed him 5 pellets a day, and blood worms once a week. I also let him fast once a week for his digestive system, giving him the inside of a cooked pea every other week. Now my question is; am I doing something wrong? or is Oscar just lazy by nature, because I don't want to be holding a sad fish in captivity, I want him to be happy! Any suggestions on what I can do to make him active? or if you are suspicious that I am doing something wrong please let me know so I can fix it right away! And if nothing is wrong I would love to hear that as-well!
