Im outside at 9:30pm playing basketball in the streets. This lady tells me that she want's me to stop or she will call the cops. I'm not screaming or anything, just bouncing a basketball and shooting it at the hoop while listening to music through my ear buds (keep in mind every window in her house is open as-well). Is she permitted to call the cops on me for play basketball at 9:30? And if she is not, how late am I able to play basketball?

There is no curfew on youth in Toronto, unsurprisingly. There are no curfews in the UK either. Curfews are a US thing; ironic for "the Land of the Free." There could be bylaws against ball games in the street. For example in the UK it is illegal to play ball games in a public road if it is to the annoyance of road users, and most councils have by-laws that make it illegal to play ball games to the annoyance of residents. It might well be similar there.

I've certainly seen kids playing ball games in the street in the UK. If it is a quiet road where they are not impeding traffic and they aren't making a lot of noise to annoy the neighbours it is fine.

Unfortunately, even though you aren't making excessive noise, your neighbour is still annoyed. She can call the police and, assuming there is a by-law in your area, they might ask you to stop or suggest you take it to the nearest park. It would come down to a judgement call on their part. Even though your neighbour is being unreasonble I think they are more likely to support her, because she is an adult and for an easy life. Otherwise they might suggest a time at which you should knock it off. There might be specific regulations that apply on this. In the UK night hours are defined as 11:00 pm to 7:00am and noise is supposed to be kept to a minimum.

It might also depend on whether this woman is known to the police. It might be that she is always calling them up with minor and unreasonable complaints. If she has a reputation they might just tell her to calm down.

What it comes down to is that she absolutely can call the police, but whether they'll turn up (they might have more important things to be dealing with) and what they'll do if they do come out isn't something she can control. They certainly aren't going to arrest you. If they ask you to stop or move and you do that'll be the end of it.

Depends on your city code. Usually, you can play until 10:00, but a lot of cities have a 9:00 noise ordinance.

Either way, if the cops come, you aren't going to get in trouble, they will just tell you to stop.

At my park, there are lights on a timer that shut off at 10pm. Sometimes I got yelled at by neighbors before 10, but when I did, I left. I don't know if the cops will do anything, but if they do show up and tell you to leave, that'll be the end of it.

Be careful because if she is crazy like many old women she could lie and tell the cops u are selling drugs / urinating/have a knife and the cops could roll up ready to pin u down. Just be careful Coz even tho u ain't doin nuttin cops will act quick esp if u got dark skin. Peace out

It all depends on curfew. Every place's curfew is different. If you play in a public place(like the street) then technically she has the right. But if you play on your property, like a backyard, then curfew doesn't matter and she doesn't have the right. You can play in the street all you want as long as it is before the curfew.

Most cities have noise ordinance, like after 10 pm it's considered quiet hours.

May be in an indoor gym you can play any time, but in a neighborhood court they got quiet hours.
