Can you recommend any online writing groups or communities?

I'm looking for an online writing group or community, and would be open to any suggestion, but would prefer something active on a relatively smaller scale.

For example, the best group I found was a group on Goodreads, that had very active mods, gave weekly challenges, and even composed and published a short story collection with some of the more active writers.

I'd prefer this to a large group of people without much writing experience, etc. but am open to anything you have to offer.
