Nissan micra 2001 X reg is making a loud noise from the passenger side and stops then starts again.?
I have a Nissan micra 2001 X reg when I drive it it makes a noise from the passengers side a bit like when a train starts to stop. I took it to garage they checked the brakes but nothing is wrong. However when the noise is happening and I hit the brakes it gets louder. Then it will stop when I drive again it will start again. I want to keep the car but the mechanics cannot find out what it is
Can anyone figure out what it could be?

it could be a wheel bearing ..when these wear they can make the brake pads hit parts it normally would not ..could be a anti roll bar rubber worn ..this allows the wheels to run out of line ..but to be honest its a ramp job ..and a good mechanic
