Words of encouragement?

Update:

I am investing in real estate. I have hit a large set back.

I'm investing so that I can provide a better future for my girlfriend and future children. I'm not sure about how to start over. Part of me wants to just give up.

I'm 35, and the last two years of work may be going to waste. I'm trying to find the motivation to move forward.

Any suggestions or words of encouragement?
