A similar question was asked about a month ago.
1. Hardtail. At your price range I would suggest full rigid. The suspension you would get on this grade of bike would be very poor. Better to spend that part of the budget on other parts;
2. Suspension under 80mm is generally considered only for riding on groomed surfaces- certainly not for any trails. Again, a fork that has such small travel will also be of poor quality;
3. Forget disc brakes. They will be of very poor quality. Instead, look for good quality linear pull brakes (often called v brakes) made of aluminum alloy rather than stamped steel. The easiest way to determine if they are steel, feel the back of a brake arm. If it feels "hollow" it is likely steel;
4. It is very unlikely that you'll be able to get a bike with more than 21 gears in your budget. You can only hope that the drivetrain is of good quality.
5. I am certain that my opinion of "good looking" is much different than yours. You will have to determine that!
There are very few bicycles that are made or sold in India regardless of price that can be considered a mountain bike (MTB). Despite the massive use of bikes on the continent, most makers simply choose to sell what would be considered junk in other parts of the world.

Double your price tag - minimum! You do NOT want a 21 speed bike that uses a "freewheel hub". You NEED a bike that uses a "freehub & cassette". Here's why...

Most (not all) will be an 8 speed cassette. There are a few 7 speed cassette's on the market, but not that many.
