Does the winky emoji mean anything?

I'm friends with this girl and we met through her ex, she's still friends with him and I'm friends with him too. They dated and broke up a couple of times and he's now moved on and is with someone else.

I haven't heard from her in a while and yesterday got a Facebook message from her saying "Hey there! Wanna hang out sometime? ;)" and I'm wondering if she was being flirty or just being friendly.

We decided to hang out soon, grab a bite to eat and such. But I'm unsure of what she's looking for. Thoughts?
