It's considered ONE of the greatest of all time,...
probably because of the story & the writer bringing a humanity to these
gangsters,...showing that they could be any family, with its own war heroes
& showing how decisions can be made fairly & honorably,..etc.
It's about a family.
Yes, it's worth watching.
It IS one of my favorites, along with many other flicks.

It's not one of my top favorites, but it's really good. Definitely worth watching, yes. The build up to the climactic ending is incredible.
