There's nothing with that. I find it more degrading for people to look down on another job because they think their job is far more superior.

I was security guard through college, had to wear a uniform to class a few times. No big deal, couldn't name a single person in those classes.

Nothing is degrading if it pays the bills and gives you some experience. Just be sure you can manage your time between the jobs and your classes.

if it's legally earning you money that you need, no, it's not degrading.
