Why do you pray?

'What a friend we have...'..always want that connection.

Jesus is the WORD, ...so verbalize it.

Makes it clearer, SEE.

Might think...this, pray about it, SEE...more to it?

I am part of a community of Christians living in this world and in the next who together worship God and pray for each other. I pray because it is right and just to worship God. I pray to commune with God and God's saints in the hope that my destiny is to be with them.

Because it's a precious privilege to be able to speak to our Creator. I humbly pray to show my appreciation for all he has and will do, not just for me, but for all who except him as their Creator and Provider. I pray, and thank God for his lovingly sending his son to redeem us from sin and death. I pray because I have faith and full confidence that God will do what He purposes to do. I pray to Jehovah God because he deserves the praise and the honor. I pray because it's a privilege no one can take away from me.

Prayers pray for themselves. Asking for a favor....

Because I Believe in God, Because I love God... When you love Someone it is normal to have a relationship with Him... I pray to thank God for all the blessings He is giving me... I pray to ask for God's Help in my Life to take good decision based on the Bible... And So On...

"Also, when you pray, do not act like the hypocrites, for they like to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the main streets to be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your private room and, after shutting your door, pray to your Father who is in secret. Then your Father who looks on in secret will repay you. 7 When praying, do not say the same things over and over again as the people of the nations do, for they imagine they will get a hearing for their use of many words. 8 So do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need even before you ask him.

praying builds the spirit, either that or drugs and hormone shots. you choose. anyway. getting to know God begins with faith and prayer. studying the scriptures being able to answer questions in truth to anyone that asks thats a different skill based on time put in and how many hours is clocked in. with prayer you can come to know the spirit and communicate with God and spirits will minister if you can know how to listen. prayer helps one learn to listen. truly there is a God and Jesus is real. prayer helps find inspiration and answers do come and one can find Jesus and God eventually. there are gifts of the spirit that can be obtained, like the spirit of prophecy and the spirit of revelation. dont do drugs. drugs actually interfere with being able to understand answers to prayers and witht he wrong drugs the spirit will not even be able to communicate.

Because seven days without prayer makes one weak.

I don't want to lose by beloved ones.

I don`t care about money, a huge apartment, a new car or a hot girlfriend, I only want to have those people next to me.

To draw nearer to God, to listen to Him, to praise Him, to ascribe His attributes to Him, to communicate with Him, to enter into His presence, to seek His will, to talk with Him, to love Him, to be changed by Him.

We pray to align ourselves with God's purposes.
