You are not abnormal at all. Chances are you are probably straight. I have been a lesbian all of my life (59 yrs) and have been with many girls (when I was younger) and women that were simply curious and wanting to just experiment a bit. Girls, women who enjoy the intimate hugging, kissing, caressing, like some best friends do, but they back away from anything more intimate like sexual gratification. Since you said that you have no interest in the deeper sexual aspect of pleasure with another woman (ex: oral sex, or penetration with a woman), you would not even be considered bisexual. Bisexual women generally enjoy having sex (the most intimate sex) with men and women. Women especially, develop very close bonds, friendships, even "girl crushes". They enjoy being playful, touchy, and feel a much stronger emotional connection sometimes that cannot be felt with a man. It means nothing, males and females are just different.

So steer clear of labels. Have fun just playing with your girlfriends and boyfriends and enjoy whatever makes you feel good. Later in life, you may or may not discover that you like or want something more intimate with a woman, that is fine too. Don't waste time worrying about it. You'll know.

Sounds like you don't have one, and that's good. Because labels are for jars. Sexual orientation labels are mostly stereotypes which most people don't fit into.

So you experimented a little ...Labels are just that. Sounds like you are as normal and curious as the next person.

Only most people won't admit it. Go with what you feel. Who cares what anyone else thinks. You sound pretty interesting to me.

You can be curious and thats it, we all have intrusive thoughts and its up to us to let them pass. These thoughts are frightening and can be sexual or physical thoughts of actions we never wish to commit. There is a saying I think it goes something like this. Right now, never having had the experience or an urge for it, you think you could "not perform sexual acts" with another female, but, with the right partner, you might discover you have the ability. It is up to you, and a willing/consensual female, about whether you will allow yourself to be put to the test. If you do, odds are you will pass with flying colors.

There's only one right way to be intimate with another person, and that's if their the opposite sex.

Sexuality is a social construct. The ancient greeks and romans had no sexuality and had sex with anyone of whatever sex. This is why they were remembered for their wild orgies.

If you have to name your preferences, it's likely bisexual. Why worry about it, you can enjoy the pleasure of a highly sexed young man's penis, with vaginal sex, and in the same mix, he can perform oral on her simultaneously. That works too, in reverse, giving you oral while penetrating her with orgasmic bliss. Seems pretty hot to me.
