How to get a temporary credit card while visiting the USA?

Update:

I hope to take a vacation to the US with my mom or dad sometime soon. The only problem is, none of us have a credit card. Is it possible to get one while we're there that we can just kinda get rid of when the trip is over?

I've never heard of a temporary credit card. Also, if you're just visiting, no US bank will be interested in approving you for a card.

You should get a real credit card from a bank in your home country. Provided it has a VISA or a MASTERCARD symbol on it, it will work across the US.

No such thing. The only thing that comes close is buying a prepaid debit card.
