Credit card?

I got called in yesterday for job orientation on Tuesday . I hear that's a good sign that I got the job. But I actually don't have a credit card & the job is direct deposit & they are paying me for orientation. So should I get a credit card before I go in to orientation?

You don't need a credit card for that, you need a bank account.

No. Direct deposit goes to a bank account. It does not go to a credit card. You should get a bank account if you don't already have one. But you should not get a credit card.

Credit cards are not used for direct deposit payments. Debit cards are used for that. Open a bank account and explain what you need.
