Lexisnexis insurance reporting and fair credit reporting act?
Is the reporting service which lexisnexis offers to insurance companies to assess risk based on crash data from insurance companies who submit reports about your accident history regulated by the FCRA? An insurance company reported an accident which I was not at fault for, but the insurance company left the fault indicator blank, leaving insurance companies to assume that I must have been at fault. Is there anything I can do to get that corrected under the FCRA?

First, you are WRONG that an insurance company would assume you are at fault.
Second, the source for the records you refer to is the DMV.
Third, the records is question are NOT credit related. Actual PUBLIC RECORDS are not covered.
