Christians of YA, does atheism bother you so much because you suspect it is correct and that you are deluded?

Atheism doesn't bother me at all. I often wonder why they'd ever come to a religion and spirituality board, but that's about it. I understand why a person of any religious affiliation would come here to discuss and maybe even evangelize to nonbelievers, but getting up everyday just to constantly talk about something "Imaginary" and how superior or smart you are for not believing in imaginary things like some people do(I'm not saying all atheists are like this , but there seem to be a great number of this particular kind here.) constantly making parody after parody after parody of a faith you allegedly know isn't true? I just don't get it. I never believed in Santa Claus. I spend no time thinking about him, I don't feel the need to mock the children that do He's quite literally the last thing on my mind . In fact I only ever discuss him when answering questions like this.That's how it should be if you don't believe something exists. I wonder how many are here just to reconfirm their disbelief in a religion because they sure don't seem to convinced in my opinion.

Nope. No doubt in my mind about what I believe. Have seen too many miracles, had too many answers to prayer, spend enough time in the present of God, and know him well enough that this is no doubt in my mind or heart. I am bothered by people who take beauty and sacred things and profane them. Or who call people "stupid" or "crazy" for having faith in God. And try to give an honest answer to those who appear to be asking honest questions. None of that requires me to "doubt" my faith to do those.

I don't suspect that atheism is correct, I already know that what they believe is inaccurate and not true. God is real, whether you want to accept that or not. Atheists believe that the universe was created out of nothingness by some miscellaneous exploding dot. Atheists would rather put their faith behind their precious science books and the rhetoric of losers like Christopher Hitchens or Bill Nye, instead of Jesus like they should.

I'm an Atheist who believes in God but no Atheism doesn't bother me, it makes me laugh lol

My concern is driven strictly by compassion for my fellow man.

When I think of anyone, not just atheists, being tormented in hell for all of eternity, my ego is of no consequence.

That being said, as Christ taught us, there is only so far we should go to try to help people before we 'leave town and shake the dust from our feet'

Atheists on this particular forum, are here for a variety of reasons, excepted the one you have touted here.

Atheism is the stupidest thing anyone can fall for. Sadly, they have rejected the truth.

I always tell people to mull over ideas that they disagree with. You have proved me wrong.
