Locks on the windows from inside.

Invest in a lock box or safe that you can put your valuables in.

If you are only concerned about the times you are occupying the room there are several options,a wedge under the door(make from scrap timber or buy at any hardware store), a chain or bolt lock inside the room,Or a chair wedged under the knob. You could add an extra bolt lock on the outer door for when you are out of the room.I hate to think that anyone would be so keen to get into your room,it bothers me in several ways.

Edit: I just looked at your other Qs and I understand now. There are several ways to have that person removed, charge them with theft for one.Have a lock put on your phone so she cannot use it or give up the landline & only use your cell phone & keep it on you at all times.I personally would boot her out myself,at least that would save your mother having to make the hard decision.Good luck anyway.
