If n is a natural number and r is the remainder when n is divided by 3, then if t = 5 or 11, the sum r^2 + r + t is prime.?

    Since r is the remainder when n is divided by 3, then n can only be 0, 1, or 2

    r = 0 ---> r² + r + t = t = 5 or 11 ----> both prime

    r = 1 ---> r² + r + t = 2+t = 7 or 13 ----> both prime

    r = 2 ---> r² + r + t = 6+t = 11 or 17 ----> both prime

    So statement is true.
