I class being homosexual as a genetic disability. The people affected are not mentally ill just their genetics has programmed their brain to be sexually attracted to others of the same sex.

Being gay is a sexuality, so is being straight. By that logic being straight is also a mental disorder.

For the same reason being left handed is not a mental disorder, it's a natural variant of human sexuality, just like left handedness is a natural variant.

Because IT IS A MENTAL DISORDER!!!! Psychiatrists at Johns-Hopkins say so, too. I don't understand why this isn't made more public knowledge!! Why should we celebrate someone's illness? We should help them instead.
