What is our responsibility to the planet and our children?

Since we live on it, we need to keep it as clean as practical. Since we live on in our children, it is important to leave them a legacy of freedom and prosperity and that means seeing through scams from environmentalists.

What do you do to conserve resources? I pay for the resources I use so I minimize all of them. I have LED bulbs, I drive a small car, I turn the thermostat up in the summer and down in the winter, etc. Paying for utilities generally makes people conserve. Even though I could afford to waste, I don't want to waste. I get free gas for work so I could drive a tank if I wanted but I prefer my Mini Cooper since it has enough horse power to carry me to work and it even has a little extra if I feel like I need to get there a little quicker.

Is climate change a concern for you? Our CO2 emissions are not a significant concern. As a geologist, I understand the climate has always changed and I know there were times it wasn't so good so yes CC is a concern but not so much for CO2.

The climate changes.......I deal with it. Environmentally ......I recycle and don't litter.

I recycle 3/4 of the 'trash' I generate and I only use lights when absolutely necessary.
