My moped (TOMOS TARGA) hasn't been used for 2 years.What steps should I take to try to start it, like add new gas and starter fluid or what?

I would drain or siphon the old gas out ,change any crankcase oils and filters if applicable .The spark plug could be replaced thats i guess optional But the engine oil ,and any filters for the oil ,and put fresh gas in it and also check and either clean/replace the air filter too .You should not need any starting fluid 1 more thing you most likely will need a new battery too If it has drained to a zero voltage reading its done You can attempt to charge it if you want But it should fire up easily without starting fluid Use the starting fluid as a last ditch effort if you can Those are the things i would do since it sat for a couple years
