Your doctor will happily tell you it if he knows it. If you've ever had blood taken, then it would almost certainly have been typed. It's in your interests to know your blood group in case you were ever in an accident or travelling abroad and needed medical care. It can be found out very quickly, in minutes, but knowing it is a sensible thing for anyone. If you had one of the very rare blood groups then it becomes more useful to know that. You might also have a blood group that is rare and that blood donor agencies are frequently short of.

he/she doesn't have to tell you for no reason, if you ask him/she then they should tell you, they have no reason not to.
