Stupidest thing I ever saw..the idiot coach of the blue jays puts a position player in to pitch in a tie game of 17 innings. Fire Giggon??

It was a strange game all around. First it was one of the worst umpired games ever. Carapazza had one of the most inconsistent strike zones ever. It was amazing that the pitcher even got anyone out. With the rotation setup the Jays couldn't use their next starter in the game (Estrada because of his back issues, he has since gone on the DL). The Jays had seven men in the bull pen that game. I guess in hind sight if he had left Stroman in in the seventh to face Kipnis with the bases loaded and two out we wouldn't be having this conversation because either Indians would score and the game wouldn't have gone into extra innings or Cecil would have been available for more than a third of an inning and Goins wouldn't have come in until the 20th inning and Barney wouldn't have faced Santana in the 19th.

By the way, for accuracy sake the position players didn't pitch until the 18th and 19th innings.

They ran out of pitchers to use so they didn't really have a choice but to use position players. It's the offense's fault for not scoring any runs when they had a lot of chances over the extra innings. I was cheering for the Blue Jays and it's sad they lost on Canada's national holiday.

First off, an MLB team is run by a "manager" who is assisted by a staff of coaches.

Secondly, the MANAGER of the Blue Jays is named Gibbons, not "Giggon".

So, when did you get to be such an expert on baseball?

When you've run out of pitchers, you have to go with whatever you've got. Learn the rules of baseball.
